Sightseeing on the Kenai Peninsula
| Marvel at the beauty of the
Kenai Peninsula's diverse habitats and treasured natural ecosystems.
Its expansive mountains and forests, high alpine tundra, swift-flowing
rivers, marshlands, saltwater bays and estuaries combine to support
a large and diverse multitude of wildlife species. |
 |
From
hooved big-game animals such as moose, caribou, dall sheep, and
mountain goat, to carnivores like the black and brown bear,
wolf, and wolverine, the Kenai Peninsula is a wildlife wonderland.
Birders will be delighted to find hundreds of species of local and
migratory birds available during much of the summer season. Marine
mammals include seals and sea lions, several species of whales,
and abundant sea otters. |
Immense glacial icefields, enormous tidewater
glaciers, and incredibly majestic snow-covered mountain peaks help to
define a rugged coastline ringed by deep green forests and shimmering
blue waters.
| Stay at our Kenai River front lodging, and spend time fishing or sightseeing. Whether your interests are adventurous
white-water rafting or sea kayaking, or less strenuous but equally
awe-inspiring glacier cruises, flightseeing,
or river drifting... We can deliver that Alaskan experience of a
lifetime. |
